Larry Moss

Larry Moss is one of the most sought after acting coaches in Hollywood and is one of the founding directors of the Edgemar Center for The Arts, which is a two theater multi-cultural complex in Santa Monica. Most aspiring actors dream to have Larry work with them, you just might have that opportunity at the Edmar Center for The Arts.

Larry Moss has been in the acting coach business for over 35 years and he is not slowing down at all. He has worked with top A-list actors such as: " Leonardo DiCaprio " Helen Hunt " Tobey Maguire " Jennifer Garner " Hilary Swank " Tea Leoni " David Duchovny " Jim Carrey

It is true that all the actors coached by Larry Moss end up performing brilliantly and some of them are even awards winners - that's the "Larry Touch". There are many Centers for The Arts that do not boast of having recognised acting coaches, let alone a well sort after acting coach in Hollywood like Larry. At Edgemar Center for The Arts, Larry Moss is a part of this creative environment where people can find their creative voice.

Moss had taught in the prestigious Julliard and Circle of the Square in New York. He later moved to the City of Los Angeles and founded the "Larry Moss Studio". Moss directed and developed "The Syringa Tree" (by Pamela Gien). This play ended up winning the following awards: " OBIE Award for Best Play of 2001 " The Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Solo Performance " The Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Solo Performance

Larry Moss has also directed the following films and plays: " Dos Corazones - an ward winning short film " Lily Field - A film by Pamela Gien " RFK - won a Drama League Award " How to Go On a Date in Queens " Who is Floyd Stern? - off Broadway " Beast of the Moon " Beggars in the House of Plenty " Runt of The Litter - was voted one of the top ten plays of the year by the New York Daily Times. " Clint Holmes Live and On Time - on Broadway " Relative Insanity " Sugar - off Broadway He also released a book in 2004 titled "The Intent to live"

Larry Moss studied his award winning craft with Sanford Meisner, Warren Robertson and Stella Adler. He also started his performing career at the New York famous "Cabaret Upstairs at the Downstairs" and later appeared on Broadway in a variety of productions which includes: - Drat!
